Born in 1974, Dr. Eutychus D. Bailey served as a pastor in the early decades of the 21st century. He “now” writes a column on the state of the mid-century church & culture which is being retrieved by us from the future because of recent technological advances enabling us to retrieve his articles 40 years before they are published. Derek Bethay, hailing from the land of corn and basketball, has been serving in full time youth ministry since 1997, first as a youth pastor in the local church and now as the Director of Programming at The Power House Youth Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. His list of accomplishments include being the husband of the former Miss Christy Rummage and the proud daddy of Joshua (6) and Hannah (4). He also finished in last place in a Brad Pitt look-a-like contest at the Virginia State Fair in 1999 and is a contributor to EW. Derek's passion is to help young people become all that God wants them to be! |

Mark is a designer, musician and artist who has a passion for creative ministry and creative visual thinking. He has worked in ministry for the past fifteen years and has devoted himself to developing innovative services that touch the heart and stimulate the senses. His origins are from the great potato state of Idaho. He serves as creative director at Daybreak Communtity Church and is a contributor to EW. |

David Drury is a pastor & writer living in Spring Lake, Michigan with his best friends: Kathryn, Maxim & Karina where they build sandcastles in the summer and watch football in the winter (which is twice as long there). Prior to planting two new church plants and serving at Spring Lake Wesleyan Church, he studied theology in Boston and holds degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Indiana Wesleyan University. He has written nearly a dozen articles for Next-Wave and is currently writing his second book. He is a contributor to EW and a member of the development team. Genetta Cockrell Herrera received her higher education degrees in the education field but as an ordained minister she has spent the last 20 years in full-time ministry. Her passion is to be (1) an ‘impacter” of men and women for God’s ministry, helping each discover and fulfill their unique God-given passion; leading them to reproduce for God’s Kingdom; (2) a “clarifier/crystallizer” giving direction and leadership to the work and ministries of “The Wesleyan Church” causing people, leaders, churches, districts and the denomination to grow in health for the purpose of reproduction. Her tag line is: “my signature is to help others find/write theirs.” Genetta and Gilbert have five children and currently live in Olathe, KS. Genetta is the founder of Church Planters, LLC and is a contributor to EW and a member of the development team. |

Brett Jones is the pastor of the cession|community, a new church plant in the Eastern Suburbs of Auckland, New Zealand. Brett’s bi-vocational (or is that tri?) status finds him teaching a post graduate law course in his spare time and moonlighting as worship pastor for the cession|community’s parent church – East City Wesleyan. He recently completed an MBA from Henley in the UK – his dissertation topic, "Optimising Performance in the Local Church Setting through Systems Thinking – Mobilising the Members at East City Wesleyan," was the last in a line of church-related MBA papers. Brett is married to Kristen, formerly of the Wesleyan mafia in the US. He serves on the National Council of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of New Zealand. Brett’s serial weirdness can be studied empirically at his blogspot. He is a contributor to EW and a member of the development team. |

John Lehmberg is a Baltimore native, an Eastern College graduate, and is a 20 year veteran of Youth Ministry, having spent his life loving on students and planting student ministries in the local church. John, his wife Glenda, and four kids now call the Atlanta area their home, where John is the pastor of a home church ministry plant called Village Church. He also consults and coaches youth pastors in leadership development, as well as being a youth ministry camp and retreat speaker. John is a contributor to EW. |

Steve McVey is the proud husband of his wife of fifteen years, Samantha, and the proud father of two great kids, Andrew and Rebekah. He graduated from I.W.U. with a BA in Christian ministries in 1995. He has been a pastor for twelve years and has served in the Wesleyan church for eight. He is originally from Lansing, Michigan and has lived in Indiana and Ohio. He is the Pastor of Lamont Wesleyan Church in Lamont, Kansas, "the biggest little church you will ever find in the middle of nowhere." Kevin Perberg is the Creative Communications Director at Frontline Church in Grand Rapids. He leads The Wave technical and creative arts ministry and serves full time to help "give the greatest message the greatest means." He is married and has a beautiful two-year old daughter who will soon show him how little he really knows about computers.
